We had such a wonderful time this weekend at Scene. The gallery was the host of an awesome show and I was fortunate to be one of the artist that was featured! Amazing pieces from William Rankin Mclure and Emily Farish were also featured! Scene is located at Pepper Place and it is quickly becoming one of Birmingham's most popular spots. Not only is Scene a gallery, it's also a venue that can hosts events and functions whether personal or corporate. Guests spent a few hours on Saturday admiring the art, mingling and getting to know the featured artists. I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to be among such great artists!

Olivia’s mother, Kimberly, emailed me not too long ago to inquire about my Equus collection prints. She told me that her 11-year-old daughter is part of the hippotherapy program, Horse Ability, in New York where they live. Olivia is special needs with a rare genetic deletion that requires special attention and daily forms of therapy. She loves horses. Kimberly told me that Olivia is so happy when she is riding. As a board member of Special Equestrians, it is these stories that truly touch my heart.
I hope you love the print of L’ami Noir – it is one of my favorites! Thank you for reaching out and sharing your story with me. Keep riding, Olivia!

Finally completing the first collection in the series for Equus was so exciting. Sharing it with friends, family and art lovers is beyond words for me, so I will let the photographs speak for themselves!
Please check out candid images from the opening provided by About Town Magazine.
2014 is the year of the horse according to Chinese zodiac, which makes this upcoming year an exciting time for the Equus print collection. Specifically, the year 2014 is the year of the wood horse. Stable and strong, wood horses are better able to make decisions. They interact well with others; a trait that enables them to have more successful personal and professional relationships. The Equus collection publicly launched in November of 2013, however is a series put together over a span of three years. As each print captivates the strength and beauty of each horse it is clear that 2014 could not be a better year to fully launch the Equus collection!
This morning Arden had the wonderful opportunity of being a guest on ABC 33/40’s Talk of Alabama. The hosts interviewed Arden and delved into her inspiration and drive as an artist and specifically behind her upcoming series, Equus. Arden has been so thankful for all the support she has been given and cannot wait to share her work with everyone THIS Thursday. Here is a quick snippet from this morning in case you missed it!
