It’s almost time for Meagan to walk down the aisle. We’re getting excited about this couple’s wedding… let the countdown begin!

How many of y’all eat out regularly? 👋 me! How many of you have a family meal at the tables still? What are your phone/tv/iPad rules etc during this time? I feel like everything is moving so quickly and families aren’t spending as much time together. I see all my friends running from errand or program to the next. What do y’all think? Is quality time at home and sharing a nice home cooked meal together a thing of the past? Maybe I need to start doing my dinner parties again....

This month is our anniversary month and my birthday! It’s hard to believe it will be 6 years married together on the 21st. Time has flown by. It seems like we were just going on our first date. We’ve been through major struggles. Specifically health issues for me and the loss of Eliana. But here we are still standing, still a team. Luckily we don’t argue very often and we always have each other’s back. Just going through photos and thinking about all the phone we’ve had together. Expect a bunch of mushy pics and posts the rest of the month!

Happy Friday y’all. I’ve had so much going on the last 2 weeks I feel like I’ve had zero chance to relax or just chill for a min. The heat has been totally getting to me. Has anyone else had this problem? IM SO READY FOR FALL. This fall we are having a styled shoot @windwoodequestrian in combo with celebrity makeup artist @nataliaissa coming. She’s teaching a hair and makeup masterclass, I’m hosting styled shoot for photographers and Cece is hosting @cecedesignsllc school for floral designers. Nov 18-19 will be amazing.

Meet @nataliaissa she’s an amazing person, friend and of course Celebrity makeup artist. She will be in Birmingham teaching a Masterclass Nov 18 & 19. This class is specially organized for current hair and makeup artists. ASK any questions and Natalia can answer in the comments!

I REMEMBER! I remember exactly what I was doing on 9/11. It’s like time stopped for a moment. It seemed like the world completely changed that day. I’d never seen anything like it and I was glued to the news. It was all surreal. Mostly I thought about the firemen because my dad was a fireman and I wondered how scared they were to run in while everyone was running out. I do wish we were a more unified nation like we were after the towers came down. I wish that there was more patriotism and less of an angry divide in our country and politics.

I’d like to talk a little bit about makeup! My likes and dislikes from an on camera perspective. With IG makeup tutorials at an all time high we need to get to the nitty gritty! All tutorials are not the same or better yet maybe they are to much the same. I see IG that looks great in a post but looks FAKE IN REAL LIFE! We cant all have the same face with the same contours and my special pet peeve what I call the caterpillar eyebrow. Sure it looks good on Kim K but you are not her and she isn’t trying to be you. So why are you trying to be her? Let’s start being true to ourselves in accentuating the great features that each and everyone of have and not doing a one size fits all routine. We are unique and we should highlight that!
